In cleaning Newcastle’s most popular Irish bar we knew St Patricks day was going to be busy. All tables and chairs were removed to make room for the expected 3,000 party goers. To ensure the bar was at its best and ready for its most important day, our cleaners started work 3 hours early at 4.ooam. This enabled us to do extra detailed work in the toilets and buff the floor ready for all the party goers.
Then after the party – it was like the old yellow pages advert – for those of us old enough!!! Extra staff and another early start to clean up. It took more than 1 hour to sweep the glass and rubbish that had stuck to the floor along with the spilt Guinness. Eight floor cleans later it was ready to buff to get it back to its best ready for the Toon’s game on the TV!!! Well done those cleaners who in the true Jani-King ethos were flexible to meet the needs of the commercial cleaning customer.
