A company we’re in the process of bidding for recently asked us to survey a site they had acquired and refitted as a retail unit.
It is a large site, previously operated as a DIY store, and we were asked to provide a quote for the daily cleaning contract to start when trading began.
During the survey we came across the floor in the above picture. We were told that another contractor had already completed a clean, but the best result that could be achieved was not good! At that time the whole floor surface was ‘black’, like the section on the right hand side of the photo.
The potential customer explained that since the cleaning process had failed the likely way forward was to replace the floor surface, with an estimated cost of several thousand pounds.
After inspecting the floor, we gave the potential client some good news: the Jani-king North West team had a cleaning process that would fix the problem – we could remove the dirt so they wouldn’t need to replace the floor- and therefore save them money!
And so we did- as you can see from our photo, the left hand side of the photo shows the floor when we had finished our cleaning process – What a difference!
We were awarded a contract for the pre-opening clean and since our daily cleaning quote was so competitive we were also awarded that contract too.
