Jani-King London were asked to carry out a sparkle clean could at the Hampstead North London site of French chain of Bar/Restaurants – the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer was due in for a visit this week.

Like Paris, Hampstead is well known for it’s connections to the arts, as well as it’s liberal and intellectual associations, so a good start of visits for the new CEO to visit.

For us at Jani-King London this was a great opportunity to showcase what we do best – CLEAN.

After an inspection by the Area Supervisor, a detailed deep clean schedule was created, and on the day of the visit, our response team were in early at 4:00am to start cleaning. To keep noise levels low and not disrupt the neighbours, all internal areas were cleaned first, and as the Hampstead activity started in the morning, the outside areas were tackled later in the morning.

Jani-King Leicester were called in to assist with a fire damage clean-up operation.

The bar situated in the centre of Coventry had a fire breakout due to an electrical fault in the ladies toilets and needed to be cleaned up in preparation for the re-decorating.  The site wanted to open to the public quickly and so time was of the essence.

The Jani-King team were able to quickly round up a team of people that had the best experience and worked over night to get the job done.  All was complete by the crack of dawn when the decorators arrived to do their part.

It’s great to be part of a business where we can quickly get an emergency team of experienced people together and respond to customer emergencies.

A client based in Newcastle is due an inspection audit this week – and who did they call to help? Jani-King North East of course!

A simple call from her to let us know has allowed for us to schedule some additional periodic work in prior to the audit – additional cleans to the chandelier, tables and chairs (which are usually taken care of by the bar staff) as well as skirting boards and any extra bits we find that might need our attention.

We’re glad our customers can count on us – they feel confident that not only do they get a great daily clean, but Jani-King North East are here and ready to assist when needed.  It just shows how much we care about each and every individual customer.

At Jani-King North East, all of our customers get a dedicated service, and added value for their cleaning contracts. One of our clients recently suffered a roof leak in the private living quarters of their bar as a result of the heavy rainfall.

Whilst it is not included in the cleaning contract, Jani-King North East were only happy to help, using equipment to suck up the water from the carpets, but at no additional cost to the client. We understand what inconvenience circumstances like these may cause, and we’re always glad to be of service.

It’s all about our relationship with our customers.

It is amazing how the April record rainfall has had such a diverse impact on our clients going from one extreme to another.

At Jani-King East Midlands and Yorkshire, we have one client who produce wet weather equipment, such as umbrellas, and they are flat out producing products to satisfy the increased demand.

One of our other clients is not so fortunate – when Jani-King visited last week a large proportion of their restaurant was under water. We have offered to help them in clearing up once the water level has returned to normal. The Jani-King teams are always available to help in emergency situations – our clients count on us in times like these.

Another cold, rainy Bank Holiday weekend..and our poor Supervisor had to come in to work to prepare our equipment and load the van prior to a new account starting the following morning at the Jubilee Gardens Shopping Pavilion in the heart of Canary Wharf.

Because all our staff are trained to be efficient, it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for Artur to have his van ready for the new start to ensure that no time is wasted the next morning – after all first impressions count for a lot!

Jani-King London’s supervisor is always at the initial clean himself, and then trains the rest of the staff who have been assigned that particular sight!

Jani-King London were asked by a Golf Club client if we could provide janitorial staff for a function that the club was hosting over the weekend.

Not a problem for Jani-King London, as we have a lot of experience in providing fully vetted and trained staff for Premieres at flagship sites of a leading cinema chain and other clients. In this instance, there was no need to go through our database as the daily cleaners were more than willing to do an additional shift in the evening.

As the function was going to finish late in the evening we also arranged for a mini cab to drop the staff home at the end of their shift.

In a city where football is always high on the agenda, it comes as no surprise that this week football reached the very top of the agenda again, with the City vs United derby taking place on Monday night.

It was reported that interest in this match was so intense and so competitive that team rivalry was splitting families! Brother from Brother, Father from Son, Mother from Daughter and Partner from Partner.

Inevitably many of Jani-king North West customers found themselves extra busy – and so did we.

Our teams however putting their football colours to one side (at least while at work) delivered more good results and all in the interest of the black and yellow colours of the Jani-king North West commercial cleaning team.

As the football managers say- it’s all about consistency.

There’s much of a buzz about the ‘The Voice’ in Manchester this week. Everywhere we go people are talking about the show, including many of our customers and their staff – they’re talking about David julien.

David is attracting lots of support from the Manchester area not only because of his great performances on the top ratings TV show, but because he originates from the area.

He’s performing again over the bank holiday weekend, so good luck David – we’re expecting to hear lots more from you.

Jani-King North East has recently placed a job advert for cleaners in Durham – and to our surprise, no one applied. We thought the demand had suddenly disappeared, until we realised that our advert hadn’t been posted!

The influx of applications has finally started to come in and it’s great to see such good quality applicants and talent in the local area. We now look forward to interviewing and appointing next week.
